TOS FERINA
La tos ferina es una infección del sistema respiratorio originada por la bacteria Bordetella pertussis (o B. pertussis). Se caracteriza por fuertes ataques de tos que a veces terminan con un sonido agudo que se emite al inspirar. Afecta mayoritariamente a lactantes menores de 6 meses antes de que hayan podido recibir la protección adecuada a través de la vacuna correspondiente. La tos ferina es altamente contagiosa
